500 Years of Tradition

I am a fine artist in Ohio but I travel all over the USA as I travel to where my clients are to paint their portraits that becomes a family heirloom that will be passed on from generation to generation after I am long gone.

I had many teachers along the way and some of those who taught me are no longer with us and some due to terminal illness had their life cut short but they lived full lives with much passion and shared their knowledge with others whom aspired to create fine oil paintings.

And so it is now as it has always been, artist teaching others the skills he or she had learned from those that had mastered these skills and so now, even though we have better paints and materials, use the techniques that was first used over 500 years ago!

An amazing tradition that still exists and will be passed on to the next generation of artists, even in the age of the Internet!
